New names for the annual Xnoizz Flevo Festival, first of all: Oslo based Diamondog are stating their position as one of the most promising rock band in the Norwegian music scene after more than decade of hard efforts. New names for the annual Xnoizz Flevo Festival this summer, can be add to the list of already booked bands and artists,  Tooth & Nail alternative rockband The Almost and Aaron Gillespie [worship]. Aaron is best known for being the former drummer and clean vocalist for the metalcore band Underoath, he left the band in 2010.  Also he was the last original & founding band member. Besides his own solo project, Gillespie is the current lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band The Almost.

The Xnoizz Flevo Festival is organized each year by Youth for Christ in cooperation with the youth organization of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (JOP) and the evangelical broadcasting company EO. At this moment, preparations for the next annual event, starting on the 16thof August are underway. The Xnoizz Flevo Festival is held for the 35th time in 2012.

After weeks of planning, cutting and pasting, Groezrock‘s schedule is finally finished! Time to plan your path through 80 interesting bands. The line-up page on their website provides a neat overview of all the stages for every day of the festival with a printable timetable. Groezrock no longer seems that far away! Groezrock Festival will be held on the 28nd & 29nd of April in Meerhout, Belgium.

Friday the 8th of June Christian Symphonic Gothicmetal band Veritas Infinita will give a beneficial concert in the Baptistchurch De Bethel in Drachten [The Netherlands].  If you buy a ticket for this concert you support a project in Uganda by the My Heart Foundation. This organisation provides homes for orphan children who cannot live with family.
